Lennie James Finds New Show: Is Jericho Dead, For Good ?

Well, I guess this might be a bad news for all the Jericho Rangers out there who still had hopes their recent efforts to find a new home for their favorite show would succeed, because this could be a sign it won’t happen.
Jericho star Lennie James, best know as Robert Hawkins to the fans, just signed for a new mini-series on AMC, the remake of the classic 1960s show The Prisoner. He will play “Number 147″, a resident of the mysterious Village where a former secret agent, now known as “Number 6″ (Jim Caviezel) finds himself imprisoned.
Other actors to have signed on for the project include Ian McKellen (casted as “Number 2″, apparent head of the Village), Golden Globe nominee Ruth Wilson, Hayley Atwell and Jamie Campbell-Bower.
