The NineFor all of you who liked ABC’s new show The Nine, it wasn’t a pleasing experience to go through all of ABC’s messed up decisions, but the end of the show’s messy life if finally coming.

After canceling the show, starting to air remaining episodes to pull them off the air again, you will finally be able to see the “final episodes”, although obviously there won’t be any closure, if you’re US resident.

Episodes 8 to 11 are online already on ABC.com, number 12 should be up fresh from today and the last one will be added August 30th. The episodes will remain online until September 24th.

Stop everything and go watch The Kill Point, now!

The Kill Point(S01E01-02) I had no idea what this show was (about) but I decided to watch it anyways, since I had it there. Turns out it is actually a mini-series, and it premiered with the two episodes back to back on July 22nd. Which also means episode 3 already aired as well, July 29, so I’ll have to catch up fast if I wanna see the next one on time.
The Kill Point airs Sundays at 9pm on SpikeTV, and is definitely a must-see TV.

Heroes newcomers still growing!

HeroesQuestion: Do people working for Heroes are aware they hiring new people might be fun, maybe they got some prize out of it or something, but they’ll actually have to make them part of the stories and write for them. Everyone of them.

Sure one might expect that a few characters of the first season won’t be coming back, but many are, and the list of new heroes, despite already being quite long, just got longer!

Send your hatemail to Stephen McPherson

ABC’s Traveler did not get canceled this season. This is news, because pretty much all good new shows have been canceled after only a few episodes.

But when asked why the show, which had been ordered a first season of thirteen episodes, got shortened to only eight episodes - after no more than six actually made it to the air, here’s what ABC President Stephen McPherson had to say :

We were disappointed in the way that that show was creatively developed, and [it] ended up being just not… not to the level that we thought it could succeed. And so it didn’t get the kind of support that, you know, we gave some other shows that we believed in a lot more.

Did you laugh at this? I know I did. So they were disappointed in the creative ways of the show, because sure those people base their decision to cancel shows on creative and artistic points, not money goals and meaningless Nielsens ratings!

Do NOT watch The Nine !!

AddThis Social Bookmark ButtonBy fred | August 1, 2007

The NineRemember The Nine, one of the new show this season that got canceled after only a few episodes ??

To refresh your memory, the show is about a bank robbery that lasted 72 hours, and what happened to the people took hostages on the bank and how this event got all those stranger together. The show had a pretty cool concept, and a quite great pilot.

To be honest though, I blame the show for its poor doing. Doesn’t mean I support its early cancellation, of course not, but as remaining unaired episodes are on their way to you… I’m asking you NOT to watch them.

The Nine will come back…

AddThis Social Bookmark ButtonBy fred | July 5, 2007

Many shows have been cancelled after only a few episodes this season, again. Among them was The Nine, a show that started good with a pretty interresting set up, but failed to succeed because obviously producers/writers were not thinking of the viewers and what they wanted to see.

The NineThe Nine was about a group of people, stangers to eachothers for most of them, who all got involved in a bank robbery, as hostages. During that long period of time they bonded, and became closer that they ever thought they would.
The problem of the show was simple: every episode was divided in two part : a flashback, of what happened in the bank. And the present time, weeks after it took place.

Only on this show, unlike others, what the viewers were really interrested & excited about was, for once, the flashbacks ! Because that, was the story. but, in order to keep things up as long as possible, each episode would only have one minute of flahsbacks, or over 40 minutes of present-crap.

Because, with its reserve way to work, the present time in The Nine was the flahsbacks, or flash forwards, whatever you call it, it was the boring & uninterresting part no once cared about. Only worst.

So it didn’t take, and ABC pulled it off the air after 7 episodes only. Well, fans of the show might be happy to hear that they’ve announce that the 6 remaining produced episodes will made it, as the show will return on August, 1st at 10.

Don’t get too excited though, because just like you didn’t had all the answers (far from it) after 7 episodes, you won’t after 13, since it was never intended to be the last episode of the show.
