As you probably know, The CW decided to give up on trying to come up with anything for Sunday nights, and instead sold its airtime to Media Rights Capital, who will be in charge of producing the shows for that night.

So, are you wondering what you will find on The CW every Sunday night, starting September 21st ? Well, wonder no more ! Here’s a little preview for In Harm’s Way, Valentine and Easy Money, presented by no other than Bob Saget from Surviving Suburbia.

I don’t know about you, but so far I’m not really excited by any of this…

2008 Complete Fall Schedule with Premiere Dates

AddThis Social Bookmark ButtonBy fred | July 20, 2008

CalendarAt this point we have the fall schedule and premiere dates for all the main networks (ABC, CBS, Fox, NBC and The CW) so now the only thing that remains is for you to search for the information concerning the shows you love/are interested in.

To make things easier for everyone, I took back the complete new fall schedule compiled before premiere dates were known and updated it. You will find here the complete 2008 fall schedule day by day, with all shows on their slot with their premiere dates included. That way you can see how [insert day here] will be, try to see what you’ll watch and what you’ll have set on your DVR, and when things will be back.

And because sometimes you want to know things the other way around, know what will be on at a given time, I’ve also included the list of all premieres dates ordered by date. With all that, hopefully you should have all the information you need to get ready for next fall.

The CW announces fall premiere dates

The CWAnd now we have them all. After the four big networks, The CW announced their premiere dates for next season, and the most important thing to note is that while for most networks we will have to wait for mid-September if not October, things will start sooner on The CW.

Much like on Fox, things will begin on September 1st, with the return of Gossip Girl and One Tree Hill. It’s probably a good idea, especially for Gossip Girl, to get people hooked on those shows before there’s anything else on at that time. That said, how desperate does it look for The CW to put GG at 8.00 while promoting it as a show where everyone is having sex with everyone all the time ?

Anyways, new series 90210 premieres on September 2 with a two-hour special, while Privileged (previously Surviving The Filthy Rich) premieres one week later. Smallville and Supernatural both come back on September 18, and if you don’t see Reaper anywhere don’t panic, remember that the show has been sent back to midseason and won’t return until 2009 (no date has been set yet).

All the dates after the jump !

A Sunday Night On The CW… Ads, ads, ads!

AddThis Social Bookmark ButtonBy fred | May 28, 2008

As you probably heard, The CW recently gave up on Sunday nights, and simply sold it away. Starting next season, Media Rights Capital will be in charge of programming the shows and selling the advertising for the CW Sunday nights. And MRC announced a part of “their” upcoming schedule, which goes as follow :

6.30 - In Harm’s Way – A reality show that looks at lives of people doing dangerous jobs. Executive Producer is Craig Piligian (Dirty Jobs, American Chopper, Survivor).

7.30 - Surviving Suburbia – Half-hour comedy about a family and their new neighbors. Kevin Abbott is Executive Producer (Roseanne, Grace Under Fire, Reba, My Name Is Earl).

8.00 - Valentine, Inc. – One-hour dramedy about an agency that finds lost loves, true loves and mends broken hearts. Kevin Murphy is Executive Producer (Reaper, Desperate Housewives).

9.00 - Easy Money – One-hour drama about a family that runs a high-interest loan business. Executive Producers are Andy Schneider and Diane Frolov (Northern Exposure, The Chris Isaak Show, The Sopranos).

Okay so while none of it sounds really amazing, I mean Surviving Suburbia sounds like a “perfect match”, as it seems exactly to fall on The CW line of shows : Gossip Girl, Surviving The Filthy Rich, 90210… And with Valentine, Inc. (adapted from an original movie script for a romantic comedy) they are after the same demo, young females.

But wait, that’s not the worst part…
