Shows love to have new cast additions, this season is no exception as we’ve seen already with a bunch of shows.

And the saga continues with CSI: NY for which two newcomers have been announced, both will be recurring. Strangely though, one of them migh not look unfamiliar to fans of the show…

Jaws 42

I just watched S01E11 of Shark, and it only confirms what I thought of the show. It’s not a good show. It’s an okay-show at best. Not more.
Okay I have to admit this episode was especially bad. But still.

Want to see a really good show about lawyers? Watch Justice! There you’ll get some interesting stuff, and it’s exciting to watch it cause you don’t know : is the guy guily or not? Will they win or loose?

With Shark, there are no such questions. They’re on the other side, and yes the guy is guilty, he always is. Never do they go after an innocent guy. Oh and, yes they’ll win, cause they always do, one way or another.

James Woods is Sebastian SharkOr should I say, he will win. Cause he always does. Shark (James Woods). He does it all. And that’s the problem with the show, IMO. Because as much as they’d like him to be, Shark is in no way such a good & interesting character as is House (brilliantly portrayed by Hugh Laurie), for instance.

And he seems to always be right. 100%. All the time. He is the one who knows things, who get things, who finds out things, who resolves things, and who wins the trial in the end. It pretty much means you can skip the show, you already know how things are gonna turn. Just like watching another Jaws, you haven’t watched it yet, and yet you kinda have. You already know what’s going to happen and how it will end.
And like all those Jaws-alike, there’s not even much excitement at seeing how it’ll get there. So really, why bother watching? Read the review of “Jaws 42″ »

Where did Justice go?

It’s a well known fact, there’s no justice, especially not in the world of Television! And the latest example of this is what happened to the new show Justice.

While Shark got a full season order, FOX’s new drama filled with lawyers, Justice, has had quite a hard time. It got moved around on schedule, took out the air for a bit, before coming back in December, and it is now once again off the air. And no word on when it’ll come back, if it even ever does.

Yet despite all that BS Justice is actually a very good show. Maybe it took a while to get there, and get people to like & watch the show, but it got there. All we need now is FOX to bring it back on!

Justice Here’s how it started. Before it was on, Justice had lots of very good things for it. It’s a Jerry Bruckheimer show for starter. We all know he’s involved in some very good shows, and he knows how to make things work. Could also means Justice would look like a “CSI for lawyers, which he kinda does in a way – they work in big places, have all the latest high-tech things & tricks they could ever need, etc – but it doesn’t have to be a bad thing.

Another big thing, a very interesting one that would separate Justice from any other traditional shows, is that in the end we get to see what really happened. After we spent a full episode seeing people lying or hiding things, not always telling the truth, or not the full truth, people looking for evidence, trying to find out how to win their case, then we would see what really happens.
This opened up a lot of very interesting possibilities : Would they win and set free a killer? Would they be unsuccessful to defend an innocent men wrongly accused ? Read the review of “Where did Justice go?” »
