CBS Schedule for 2009
The new schedule for CBS is now official, and they are adding five new series - three dramas and two comedies. The most noticeable addition to the schedule might be the long-rumored creation of another night of comedy, as President Nina Tassler said : “We’ve been looking to expand our comedy lineup, and we now have the depth and development to make the move. Monday is already television’s signature night for comedy and we think we can make the case that CBS is the signature network for comedy overall.”
Yeah, right, CBS wants to be the signature network for comedy overall, and they should know their facts : when it comes to comedy, they were able to take the awesome gem that is How I Met Your Mother and bring it down not once but twice by the addition of Britney Spears (who they might even have to come back again!). Seriously, if you have to think about it more than one second when it comes to renewing this show, then you obviously don’t know nothing about comedy, or ones that are actually funny that is. (rant over.)
