(S03E01) Well well, the long awaited new season of the famous show that is Prison Break is finally back, and I have already expressed much of my worries about this new season in the past.
Son how did it turned out to be, was this really the “best season ever”, as people involved with it have claimed ?

(S03E02) Well, I just saw the second episode of this new season of Prison Break, and I think I stand exactly where I stood after the first episode, nothing really changed in feelings towards this new season.
And in a way, this is not the worst news of all, it means it did not get (really) worse. I guess it did not, but for sure it did not get any better. It all goes according to what I thought, feared was the plan, and that’s definitely not a good plan. Not for the season, not for the show.

(S03E04) Ok, so now you know. Now we all know what was in the box. And I’m sure they intended this little moment to be of the the jaw-dropping moments, something many viewers and fans would react to, and maybe they thought it might give a boost this season has been desperately needing so far. But I really don’t think so.
What happened, and the way it happened, should it be on the show or behind the scenes, has absolutely nothing that would actually serve the show, quite the opposite. And I don’t mean to be mean, but I think they are killing the show and ruining it for all the (few) fans still tuning in every week.

(S03E05) I used to really love this show. I really did. And I don’t care what some people say, I really liked the second season as well. I mean sure, the show wasn’t meant to be taken seriously, you had to close your eyes on a few plots and means, but it was still pretty good and very entertaining.
I know many were troubled by the second season not being set within a prison, but I really felt like writers had been able to keep the same intensity, tension and rhythm into that season that they had done in the first.
Maybe there were no more guards and cells to be locked in, but the pressure was still there, and something was still happening every instant. And this is exactly what’s missing this year – amongst the many problems this season has.

(S03E06-E07) This week we were treated with a special two-hour-long episode of Prison Break, or more like two episodes back to back, but the results is the same, especially for such serialized show. As I said before, I planned to see this episode and to finally see Michael escape from Sona. Not because I had read any spoilers or anything, just that just seemed like the only logical development on the story, based on what happened last time.
That, plus why else would they have a two-hour special if not for such as event as the awaited escape, right? And I was very pleased with such an idea, because I for one did not like the “let’s go season one all over again” idea for this season, and sending him back behinds bars so that he can has to escape, with a very imminent deadline.

(S03E09) Yes, I know, I know, I said I wouldn’t watch it. Guess what, I’m a TVoholic, I couldn’t help myself. Plus, I needed to do something while waiting for Terminator to come on, so yes, I admit, I did watch the return of Prison Break !
I still remember how I felt after that two-hours “special” and how I “insulted” the show after wards, it really was bad. In fact, I did not review the episode after that, the last one before it went on a break, because I really couldn’t stand the show no more. Truth be told, I did eventually watch episode 8, and it was a piece of crap as well, so that’s for it.
But then, today, I watched the return of Michael and all the others again. How did it turn out ?

(S03E10) So after I said I wouldn’t watch this show, I failed to resist last week and much to my surprise I got interested in the show again ! I didn’t say I was hooked or that it was back to being good, Hell no, but I have to admit that it was not as bad as it had been in the past, and damned those guys who had me wanted to see what would again next!
So here we are again, for a new episode of Prison Break. Now before I tuned in, I remembered what I said, which basically left no room for interpretation : either they, or Michael at least, would finally get out of Sona, or I was out. That was the deal. Now, did Michael get out ?

(S03E11) Of course after last episode I said I was done with this crap, yet there’s only three (now two) more episodes so I kinda feel like I might as well watch them all and see how it “ends”, even though I’m sure it’ll be a mess. It won’t be a surprise and it won’t be a change either, because this whole season so far has been nothing but a mess, where nothing happens and nothing gets done, and when it’s not completely ridiculous it’s just pathetic.
Did I had any hope that this episode would be any different, or that anything would happen there ? Hell no! If you asked me, I would have said that Michael and his friends wouldn’t get out of Sona before the end of episode 13, the last completed episode. That was my thoughts on how things could go down, what did actually took place ?

(S03E12) Yeah I know this show sucks, and this season was especially bad, it really was. Or is. Yet I started watching and I kept on doing so so far, so I have to see how it will all end. After all, the end is near.
And last week it seemed that one thing was most definitely inevitable : Michael & co were breaking out. Yes, they were finally leaving Sona behind them and moving on to other stupid plots. So I was actually really hoping that things could get better, and by that I mean less bad, than it’s been so far during this crappy season.
Of course, that was forgetting some pretty important thing right there : this, my friend, is Prison Break !

(S03E13) This is it, the last episode of Prison Break. Well, nothing has actually been officially decided for the future of the show, but as far as we know as of today, this was for sure the season finale, there won’t be any more episodes added (the show isn’t going back to production now that the writers’ strike is over). That doesn’t mean this is the end of everything, there could be a fourth season.
It could happen, should Fox renew it. It hasn’t been done yet, and this was without question the weakest season of the series so far, both in ratings as well as creatively – not that people at Fox were about that anyways. I won’t make any guesses, but don’t torture yourself over the unanswered questions you have, cause you may very well never get any answers.
And yes, there’s a few of those questions.
