DVR Cleaning: Breaking Bad: Pilot

(S01E01) Yep, so last week to the day (pretty much) premiered on AMC this new show called Breaking Bad, and I wanted to give it a try because it looks like it could be a good one. I know AMC it trying to get up there and have shows that can compete without shame against those of Showtime or FX, and while I personally didn’t enjoy Mad Men, which had been praised by so many, I wouldn’t call that show awful either, it wasn’t Heroes or Private Practice.
So, back on Breaking Bad. I’m sure most of you have seen it by now, and if you haven’t I have only one thing to say to you : go watch it now !! Really, you need to watch it quick because tonight comes the second episode, and I am pretty happy actually that I don’t have to wait one week before I get to see more of it, because I really want to find out what will happen next !

Shows: Breaking Bad
In Series: Breaking Bad Season 1
(S01E02) Well, I don’t know about you but I myself only watched the pilot of this new show yesterday. It’s been a week since it aired, but I somehow manager not to sit & watch it before then. I don’t really regret it, cause I now had to wait close to nothing before I could get to see this second episode, which is a pretty neat thing because as you know if you read 
(S01E03) It wasn’t around last week, and I missed it. Oh sure, this show is still quite new - as this was only the third episode - but I don’t need any more to know that it is a great show, one that I do enjoy every week, when it’s on, and I’m sure this won’t be away anytime soon. When it first came out, or before even, it has been compared to Weeds, but let me tell you this : it has nothing to do with Weeds, none, nada.
(S01E04) As you may know if you’ve read my previous reviews of this show, I freaking love it. It’s one of the best new shows I’ve seen in a while, and most definitely one of those I enjoy the most at the time, since many (great) shows are off the air at the moment. This show has been compared to Weeds when it started, because it deals with drugs and because the main character on the show happens to be dealing drugs, sort of, but it really has nothing to do with Showtime’s series.
(S01E05) I’m sure all eyes were on ABC last night, as the 80th Academy Awards took place. But as far as I’m concerned the excitement came from AMC’s latest show, Breaking Bad. After starting with an impressive rhythm and a constant tension, last week we had a “transitional” episode, an episode during things slowed down a little, both Walt and Pinkman retreated to their family and tried to deal with things as they were now.
(S01E06) Okay, so this episode aired on Sunday but I didn’t get to see it until a few minutes ago, and I have to say I was panicking when I first realized things went wrong for me, and that I didn’t have the episode right there, waiting for me to watch it. I’ll be honest, when the show premiered on AMC, I don’t really think I was especially excited about it. “I know!“, as would say Craig Ferguson.
(S01E07) You know what, I’ve just watched the latest episode of AMC new series, Breaking Bad, and I realize that I should feel worried and/or sad. I know I should, and I’m sure many fans of the show do feel sad at this moment, because although nine episodes were actually ordered, due to the writers’ strike only seven of them were completed. As such, what we got this Sunday night was the last episode of the first season.
