Wednesday’s Numbers

They might be a bunch of morons, but it seems to be working for them : once again NBC won the night, both on total viewers and on the 18-49 demo. I’ll tell you, to me, this is a bit depressing.

As usual there as nothing (good or new) at 8.00, so let’s move on one hour later. Law & Order: CI was on NBC, it was new, except that it already aired in USA a few weeks ago, and only made its way to NBC cause of the strike. I guess fans of the show aren’t mad at NBC for despising their show and sending it to USA, and only bringing it back because of the strike : 9.6 millions ware watching, making it the second most watched program on its slot, better than last season’s average (8.8 million)

But the show that ruled the whole night was no other than CBS’ Criminal Minds, with 14.6 million viewers and 3.9 on the 18-49 demo. The show was the best performer of the night both on total viewers and on the 18-49 demo, and having watched the episode, it was well worth it.

For its season finale, Gossip Girl did perform quite good, it was its best performance in a few weeks in fact with 2.3 million viewers and 1.5 on the 18-49 demo.

At 10.00 Law & Order didn’t do bad, but far from doing as well as last week for its return either, loosing 2.4 million viewers. Of course this time it faced a new episode of CSI: New-York, which wasn’t that far ahead (11.6 vs 11 million)

Cashmere Mafia has its second episode, I haven’t seen it (yet), but after that pilot and with a much lower lead-in (Supernanny, 8.9 million) it’s no surprise it didn’t do much, loosing about 3.5 million viewers (6.2 million).

All numbers of the night right below in a nice chart :
