Wednesday’s Numbers
By fred | December 6, 2007
Helped with a two-hour Deal Or No Deal NBC took the night easy, but while ABC was a bit short on viewers it came first on the 18-49 demo, thanks to Santa and Private Practice.
So at 8.00 NBC came first with its Deal Or No Deal, followed by 11.5 million people. Next came Santa Claus Is Coming To Town on ABC, whish was first on the 18-49 demo with 3.4 Except for America’s Next Top Model on The CW, Fox and its repeat closed the night after Kid Nation, loosing again some viewers.
At 9.00 the game on NBC was still first, followed by Private Practice returning to its slot with about 200 000 more viewers than last week’s Pushing Daisies, returning to stronger results after loosing 3 million viewers and dropping to 8.4 million two weeks ago. On The CW Gossip Girl didn’t really profit from Fox and CBS to be in rerun mode, loosing about half a million viewers over last week.
At 10.00 it gets sad again to see that CBS came first with a repeat of CSI: New-York (10.3 million viewers), but I am pretty happy to see Life going up to 7.6 million viewers, winning 1.3 million viewers since last week and 1 million since Monday’s episode. Maybe Monday’s episode helped, probably the strong lead-in that was Deal Or No Deal helped too, either way it’s all good for the show, which still deserves a lot more recognition!
Meanwhile on ABC, Dirty Sexy Money didn’t do too well, coming last on its slot both on viewers (6.9 million) and on the 18-49 demo (2.4)
