Wednesday’s Numbers
By fred | November 22, 2007
There was pretty much only two networks with new content on Wednesday, ABC and CBS. Others aired either reruns or reality TV. Yet ABC had a tough night, and was not only beaten by CBS, winner of the night in both viewers and on the 18-49 demo, but also by Fox.
Less viewers than usual in front of their TV, and the first shows to suffer was Pushing Daisies watched by 1.3 million viewers less than last week. Not to worry though, it still came in first in its timeslot, both in viewers and amongst the 18-49 adults. Fox only had reruns at both 8.00 and 8.30, allowing NBC and their crap to move up and take the third place, behind CBS, whose Kid Nation did almost as well as last week.
Not everyone lost viewers though, Criminal Minds ruled its time slot, and the night, growing its audience ! Private Practice on the other hand tanked, loosing 3 million viewers and coming in third after NBC, Deal Or No Deal being watched by almost nine million viewers, which is quite a lot more than Bionic Woman (6.3 million viewers last week).
CBS had a very good night, because much like its lead-in CSI: New-York did win viewers (1.4 million of them). Once again NBC and their crap did well, 11.5 million viewers watching Deal Or No Deal at that time, that’s no less than 5 million more viewers than Dirty Sexy Money had.
As always, nice chart with all the numbers of the night right here :
