Wednesday’s Numbers

By fred | April 3, 2008

Of course Fox won Wednesday night, with new installment of Moment Of Truth and, more importantly, American Idol, there was really no mystery here. But CBS managed to hold on strong this week, with the return of two cop dramas, both doing more than twice what Big Brother did at 8.00

With only 6 million viewers, Big Brother clearly isn’t doing well, but Wife Swap on ABC couldn’t reach more than 5.7 million viewers, so, you know, shame on ABC. Especially when you know that none of the shows on ABC could reach 6 million viewers. Their most-watched program was Supernanny with only 5.8 million viewers.

At 9.00 American Idol was on of course, and with 24.3 million viewers it was obviously the most watched program of the night. Meanwhile Criminal Minds was back, with 12.8 million viewers. There’s less than the last episode which as a season low, so it doesn’t look so good. Of course, back then the competition wasn’t as strong so it’s all relative. Either way, the episode wasn’t good.

And at 10.00 was the return of CSI: New-York with 12.8 million viewers as well, a pretty good result for the show. Meanwhile Men In Trees was the least performing ABC program of the night with 5.5 million viewers.
