Wednesday’s Numbers
By fred | March 20, 2008
Last night Fox had a new American Idol on, and as always that’s enough to ensure Fox to win the night. Although every Wednesday for a few weeks now, Fox has had less and less viewers, and this was their lowest on a Wednesday night since Idol is back. Nothing to worry though, they’re still 10 million viewers ahead of the closest competition…
At 8.00 CBS had a new Survivor, and maybe the move from Thursday night can explain the lost of about 2 million viewers. 11.3 million viewers were still enough to beat Moment Of Truth on Fox, with 10.7 million viewers, but Fox game did better on the demo (4.1 vs 3.7)
At 9.00 Idol was back, and of course it was the most-watched program of the night with 25.5 million viewers. Very close followed Supernanny, a rerun of Law & Order: Criminal Intent and Big Brother all around 6.8 million viewers, although NBC was much lower on the demo.
Finally at 10.00 NBC took the lead with a new Law & Order while Men In Trees regained a few viewers, up 200 000 of them but still last behind the rerun of CSI: New-York.
