Wednesday’s Numbers
By fred | February 14, 2008
Of course, last night was another huge win for Fox, which with another combo of American Idol (24.6 million) and Moment Of Truth (14.5 million) was not a winner as much as it didn’t play on the same level as did the “competition”, even though that Moment Of Truth keeps loosing viewers every time.
CBS used to have dramas doing well in reruns, but that’s not always the case anymore as the repeat of Criminal Minds was beaten by both ABC (Supernanny, 8.8 million) and, of course, a new Law & Order: Criminal Intent on NBC (9.1 million). Added to their Big Brother doing pretty poorly and getting smashed by NBC’s Deal Or No Deal (11 million vs 5.8 million) and CBS is probably real happy that the strike is over.
Not as much as ABC though, because if their dramas never did well in rerun, their new ones don’t do so good fresh either. Cashmere Mafia may have won 200 000 viewers since last week, but don’t forget last week was a series low… and this week is was still dead last, with 2.4 million viewers less than a rerun of CSI: New-York on CBS, itself 2.5 million viewers behind a new Law & Order on NBC.
