Tuesday’s Numbers
By fred | December 12, 2007
LOL - Yeah, so the numbers of last night actually make me laugh a little : how do you know this was a bad night of television ? You do when the most watched program of the night was a repeat, and the stronger performer on the 18-49 demo was again a repeat. (Well, almost.) How awesome and exciting does that all sound ? I’ll tell you how : NBC - with its games & rerun - did win the night, that’s how “great” it sounds! (Not that there was actually another choice, really…)
So at 8.00 CBS won the slot thanks to a repeat of NCIS pulling out 11.8 million viewers, and that’s half a million more viewers than NBC’s Deal Or No Deal. Hear that NBC ? People are already sick and tired of your lame game…
As usual on Tuesday, even in rerun mode, NCIS had more viewers but one hour later House did better on the 18-49 demo with a 3.5 - Note that in fact The Biggest Loser, which, with 9.8 millions viewers, came first before House (9.7 million) did do a little better on the 18-49 demo with 3.6
After a strong lead-in, Cane came in third with only 8.0 million viewers (1.5 million more than last week), and a pretty low impact on the 18-49 demo (1.9)
At 10.00 Boston Legal grew its audience by 400 000 viewers with a total of 9.0 million viewers, coming in first on its slot both in viewers and on the 18-49 demo (2.5) Cane was second with still 7.8 million viewers and a rerun of Law & Order: SVU closed the night with 1.1 million viewers less than Cane but a stronger performance on the 18-49 demo (2.4 vs 2.0)
As aways, all numbers of the night below :
