Tuesday’s Numbers

By fred | May 21, 2008

NumbersLast night was a good night for ABC. Of course was won the night both in viewers and on the demo with their latest installment of American Idol, but Dancing With The Stars did pretty will, better than usual, especially on the demo, bringing the Alphabet to the second place.

At 8.00 of course Idol was way ahead of any competition, with more than 10 million more viewers over the season finale of NCIS (26.1 vs 15.0 million), while crushing it on the demo (9.7 vs 3.0) The rest was only reruns or close, so not much to say/care about.

At 9.00 on Fox Hell’s Kitchen could not even hold on to half its lead-in audience, down to 12.6 million viewers. And that was only good to come in third at that time, the second hour of NCIS having grown to 17.7 million while Dancing was even stronger with 19.1 million. Meanwhile on The CW was another season finale, and Reaper grew by 700 000 viewers since last week, with 2.7 million viewers and 1.2 on the demo.

One hour later Shark had its series finale, retaining 10.6 million viewers from its lead-in, while the second hour of Dancing was even stronger with 20.7 million viewers and a 5.7 on the demon, second best score of the night, after Idol of course.
