Tuesday’s Numbers

By fred | April 16, 2008

Last night was nothing new : American Idol on Fox, and Fox won the night, both in total viewers and on the demo.

At 8.00 23 millions viewers were watching Fox, while NCIS hold strong once again with 14.9 million viewers, though a much lower score on the demo (3.1 vs 8.6) In fact, The Biggest Loser on NBC might not have reached 10 million viewers (9.5 million) but it did better on the demo (3.6)

According To Jim was back with new episodes, and couldn’t reach 4 million viewers, with that and only 1.3 on the demo I can see why ABC wants to renew it…

One hour later The Biggest Loser was still not the most-watched program of its slot, but it had a very nice boost, and was a winner on the demo (13.0 million, 5.1). The most-watched program of the slot was Dancing With The Stars, with 15.0 million viewers.

Finally at 10.00 the return of Law & Order: SVU got a nice 13.3 million viewers and a 4.7 on the demo, clear winner of its slot. In the meantime CBS pulled out a nice 5.1 million and 1.5 on the demo with 48 Hours Mystery. Awesome. Suddenly the 5.8 million and 2.0 of Jericho finale don’t look so bad after all!
