Tuesday’s Numbers

By fred | April 2, 2008

Not much to say about last night, nothing much on and it was all predictable : Fox was a clear winner thanks to a new installment of American Idol, of course, but ABC did good with their Dancing With The Stars. What else if new?

It’s no surprise that Idol was the most-watched program of the night, and that it was more than enough for Fox to win the night, both in total viewers and on the demo. One hour later Dancing With The Stars did well and won its slot, although it’s nowhere near as good as Idol, especially on the demo where Hell’s Kitchen did much better (5.7 vs 3.9), but DWTS has never been so good on the demo.

Hell’s Kitchen was back, with a very strong lead-in, and only retained half of its viewers. Not so good, but could it be worse ? We’ll see next week…

Meanwhile on The CW a rerun of Reaper at 9.00 was able (once again) to grew from its lead-in, a new Beauty And The Geek.

Finally at 10.00 the second part of CSI: Miami has no problem winning the slot, with 14.3 million viewers watching, only 1.2 million less than the night before. And the ABC News special, helped with the almost 17 million from its lead-in, managed to get 10 million viewers.
