Tuesday’s Numbers

By fred | November 21, 2007

As usually on Tuesdays, while ABC may have been the most watched network, Fox ruled among the 18-49 demo thanks to the famous Dr House.

Once again at 8.00 NCIS dominated with 17.4 million viewers, and ABC realized how bad its “comedies” suck, given that the Charlie Brown repeats did much (much) better, scoring more than twice what Cavemen and Carpoolers usually do, in both viewers and on the 18-49 demo. And somewhere in the middle, Bones lost about 400 000 viewers compared to last week.

At 9.00 Dancing With The Stars was followed by over 20 million people, but House wasn’t that far away with almost 17 million viewers and a 6.8 on the 18-49, being still the clear winner of the night on that demo.

The Unit lost a few viewers but got better result amongst the adults 18-49, while The Biggest Looser is stable and the repeat of Reaper was watched by 600 000 less viewers than last week’s episode.

Law & Order: SVU lost 800 000 viewers and its first place at 10.00 to ABC’s The Bachelor, not only watched by 12.8 million viewers but also doing better on the 18-49 with 4.2 versus 3.9 for NBC’s drama.

Meanwhile Cane might have done a little better than last week, but is only around because of the strike and still waiting to be canceled, given how last year’s show averaged 9.2 million viewers and lasted no more than three episode, whereas Cane only had 7.6 million viewers this night.

As usual, all numbers in a nice chart right below :
