Woopsie, too tired and (almost) forgot to report the numbers of yesterday !
So… Now that networks are done with November sweeps, reruns are kicking in everywhere, except for NBC. Sadly, it didn’t really help their comedy night, which even lost viewers compared to two weeks ago (last week nothing was on, due to Thanksgiving). Over the whole night, NBC lost 1.2 million viewers, and did less on the 18-49 demo as well, although it got the second spot on the night this time given how other networks performed even less good.
At 8.00 CBS’ Survivor was the clear winner of the slot, with almost 14 million viewers. Still, it lost close to a million viewers since two weeks ago. Ugly Betty was in rerun and as such was much less followed, letting Fox and its Are You Smarter Than A 5th Grader? come in second place.
Meanwhile on NBC, a new My Name Is Earl lost close to a million and a half since two weeks ago, while 30 Rock lost half a million and didn’t even pass the 6 million viewers. Later, Scrubs did not do much better coming after The Office, which was on rerun mode.
Both in reruns, CSI performed better than Grey’s Anatomy with 3.3 more viewers and a stronger score on the 18-49 demo (3.4 vs 3.1). Once again Fox benefit the most, and its Don’t Forget The Lyrics! did better than both sitcoms of NBC, gaining 2.6 million viewers over two weeks ago.
At 10.00, just like the sitcoms leading in to it, E.R. didn’t benefit from reruns on other networks : it lost close to a million viewers compared to two weeks ago, and 4.4 million viewers compared to last year. It also performs much less on the 18-49 demo, getting 3.4 compared to 5.8 one year ago.
On CBS Without A Trace was in rerun in didn’t went over 10 million viewers, but still won its slot by over a million viewers.
Again, all numbers of the night in a nice chart :
