Sunday’s Numbers

That was a great kick-off for Terminator ! Helped by some lead-in, as the NFL Playoffs were watched by no less than 37.3 million viewers and a 14.5 on the 18-49 demo, Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles scored a pretty good 18.3 million viewers and a 7.6 rating in the 18-49 demo.
So far so good, the real test will be to see how much tune back in tonight, for the second episode. I’m pretty confident the show will work fine, or maybe I hope it will, but I’d like to see at least 12 million viewers back tomorrow, after a crappy lead-in (Prison Break’s return), which will probably be around 7 or 8 million.
At 9.00 Comanche Moon did a pretty good start as well on CBS, wining its slot with 16.6 million viewers (but a poor 3.6 on the 18-49 demo). Meanwhile, helped with a strong lead-in, Family Guy had a good night on its own, with no less than 11.5 million viewers, and came first on the 18-49 with a 5.6
ABC’s Brothers & Sisters suffered from loosing its usual lead-in and hit season low with 10.9 million viewers.
Oh yeah, NBC’s mess did not do good (5.8 million, 1.7). Big surprise!
