Sunday’s Numbers [12.07.2008]

Pretty much a good night for everyone last night, NBC doing nicely with their Sunday Night Football, Fox being helped by a half-hour overrun of football at 7.00 (and 23.45 million viewers (9.0 on the demo), no less) and taking the demo, ABC still strong with the most-watched program of the night (not counting the overrun obviously) in Desperate Housewives and CBS winning the night with their Hallmark Hall Of Fame’s movie.
At 8.00 for their last appearance this year, relocated The Simpsons didn’t do too well with only 6.19 million viewers and 2.8 on the demo — down 1.8 million since last week and a new season low. A rerun of Family Guy at 9.00 actually did better, with 6.54 million viewers and a 3.1 on the demo.
At 9.00 Desperate Housewives ended the year going up (+400 000) with 16.00 million viewers and a 5.9 on the demo. Lead-out Brothers & Sisters did the same, doing better than it’s done in a while with 10.66 million viewers (+500 000) and 3.9 on the demo.
