Monday’s Numbers

By fred | November 13, 2007

Another Monday like every others, it seems. Sure, last week Fox was pretty happy and even grabbed the first place thanks to the 2 hours of Prison Break, but after going as high as 8 million viewers last week, it was down to 7.2 millions this time. I guess I’m not the only one who didn’t like those two hours, uh?

The biggest disappointment of the night, as far as I’m concerned, or any TV lover/viewer would be I would assume, is that once again ABC won the night thanks to Dancing With The Stars, way to support the writers

Anyways. The comedy night of CBS didn’t do too well, both sitcoms loosing viewers, but it’s nothing compared to the last episode of the year for Prison Break, loosing half a million viewers and loosing its place to Chuck, stable.

But the big question was about Heroes ! After last week’s episode that many thought was good (better, yeah, but good, no) and this week promise of getting answers (I still haven’t watched it yet), was the show do better than last week’s season low at 9.8 million viewers. The answer is… yes, it did! This episode was watched by over 11 million viewers, so 1.3 million viewers more. The show even got back over 5 in the 18-49 demo (5.1, versus 4.9 last week).

The only reason K-Ville is still on the air is the writers’ strike, because with 4.7 million viewers (loosing over a million since its last episode) and 1.6 amongst the 18-49 it’s no doubt Fox would have canceled that show long ago otherwise.

CSI: Miami still does well, very well even with over 15 million viewers, and while I’m pissed to see The Bachelor second, it should be noted that Heroes‘ boost helped Journeyman a little, with almost one million more viewers than last week.

As usual, all the numbers of the night in a nice chart right below :
