Monday’s Numbers
By fred | January 15, 2008
This is really depressing. So I guess most people do not care about quality, nor do they really want their shows back on… There were five million more people watched the stupid Deal Or No Deal than watching Fox’s new hit show Terminator ! NBC’s game even came first on the 18-49 demo as well (5.0 vs 4.3)
Last night I said I was hoping for 12 million viewers for Terminator, and it didn’t get them. It “only” did 10.1 million, but it’s not that bad. For sure it’s an improvement over K-Ville, and it build on its lead-in, Prison Break, which did close to 8 million, making it a success. It is depressing to me, though, to think that there were more people watching a rerun of Two And A Half Men (11.5 million), than there were watching Terminator.
Meanwhile, talk about a Black Monday : NBC keeps doing quite good with unscripted content. NBC won the night, and Deal Or No Deal didn’t just beat Terminator, it also got best results than Heroes used to do in the same timeslot. (Of course, this season of Heroes was pretty awful, but I seriously doubt Deal Or No Deal is any better ?) In fact, that game was the most watched program of the night…
As always, all numbers of the night below :
