Monday’s Numbers

By fred | March 4, 2008

With a little help from a royal family, ABC won the night in total viewers, being the only network to average over 10 million viewers overnight (11.2 million). On the demo it wasn’t as easy, and both ABC and Fox tied on the first place with 3.1

So at least you got that, for its two-hour “season finale”, or just the last two completed episodes of the season, Terminator was able to put Fox on the first spot on the 18-49 demo. After a season low last weak going way below the 8 million viewers (7.1 million), this week it was back up around 8 million and with a 3.1 on the demo, some good results overall.

Sure, it’s nothing impressive and we’re far from its post-Football debut, but the show is actually pretty good and if it can keep 8 million viewers live and 3.1 on the demo, Fox might be interested in keeping it around. Hopefully they will be.

Also at 8.00, Welcome To The Captain still not canceled ?? At 9.00 New Adventures Of Old Christine are down 900 000 viewers, but with a lead-in loosing 2.3 million viewers it’s not so bad.

At 10.00 and despite a strong lead-in with almost 14 million viewers, October Road was down to 5.3 million viewers, dead last of its slot. Same goes on the demo, down to 2.0 from a lead-in at 3.9 ! Meanwhile once again Medium was beaten by a rerun of CSI: Miami (9.4 million vs 9.1 million), but as last week NBC drama performed better on the demo (3.0 vs 2.6).
