Good start for Psych !

Last Friday was the season premiere for two USA summer hits : Monk, and Psych. It it was all pretty good, since at 9.00 Monk simply had its second-bast season premiere to date with 5.6 million viewers, after season 4 (6.4 million).
One hour later things stayed on the same level, as Psych held on to 86% of its lead-in, averaging 4.9 million viewers - 600 000 more viewers than last season’s premiere.
In the key demo (adults 18-49), Monk and Psych averaged about 2 million viewers, with the latter pulling in about 47 000 more viewers in the demo than its lead-in. Added to the great performances of new series In Plain Sight, needless to say USA is having a great summer so far!
