Friday’s Numbers

CBS offered a night of new episodes, and so logically The Eye won the night. It was still a pretty low night, and not one program reached 10 million viewers.
At 8.00 Ghost Whisperer won its slot coming real close, with 9.9 million viewers, making it the most watched program of the night. It also scored the best result of the night on the 18-49 demo (2.8) An hour later Moonlight may have lost a few viewers but still won its slot by over two and a half million viewers over NBC’s Friday Night Lights, which didn’t reached the 6 million viewers.
At 10.00 Numb3rs grew on its lead-in by 1.4 million viewers, almost back to Ghost Whisperer’s performance two hours before it. ABC had a pretty bad night, but it’s not new that its drama don’t repeat well, and they had pretty much nothing but repeats on. The Alphabet had a little more viewers than The CW, but thanks to their Friday Night Smackdow, always a good performer, The CW sent ABC to the last spot on the 19-49 demo.
