Last night was your typical Friday night, with only notable to fact that instead of a rerun of NCIS it was a special Price Is Right at 9.00 on The Eye, and that wasn’t a success. Also, if Ghost Whisperer is string on its own, Numb3rs can use a solid lead-in…
At 8.00 Ghost Whisperer had a new season high with 11.67 million viewers and a 2.9 on the demo !! Pretty great performance, to bad it got wasted to lead into Price Is Right Salutes The Troops which merely retained 7.31 million viewers, and 1.7 on the demo. Although at 9.00 that was the best performance on the demo…
At 10.00 with a weaker lead-in, Numb3rs went down with 1.9 million less viewers than a week ago, 9.27 million viewers and 2.1 on the demo. It’s not bad, but the show isn’t in its prime either, and maybe CBS could think about moving it one hour earlier to benefit from Ghost Whisperer great performances. Another idea to play with could be to bring back Canadian import Flashpoint on Fridays, where it might do well paired with Numb3rs…
On NBC it’s still a mess, Crusoe getting only 4.17 million viewers and a 1.0 on the demo, which isn’t even surprising anymore, at this point NBC can be glad the show goes that high, cause it’s not a given. Meanwhile, while having to deal with that crap as lead-in and getting the lowest performance of the night for NBC in viewers (3.58 million viewers, up 300 000 since last week), Lipstick Jungle also got managed to be NBC’s best performer of the night on the demo, with a 1.4 — which is saying much about NBC’s condition.
