Yet another new Heroes!…
By fred | August 18, 2007
Alright, I think the more it goes the more I loose any hope I had left for the second season of Heroes. Which is a really bad thing, since I didn’t had much left after their season finale. Took me time to find some back actually, and now it’s pretty much all gone again, and the season hasn’t even started!

Every time there is a new piece of information regarding next season of Heroes that comes out, it is nothing but a bad indication on how things might turn, and the bad direction tings seem to be headed into.
And it doesn’t seem to stop, ever.
It started with having the most beloved characters away from everyone else, and then we kept hearing about new people being added to the already long cast of the show. Again, again, and again.
And again. Again they’re adding yet another character to the cast of the show. After George Takei, another fellow Enterprise crew member is joining in on
I guess this is what creator Tim King had in mind when saying to E! he was looking for “another face that will have a very similar impact” on fans as Takei’s did. I have nothing against any Star Trek people, but maybe King should try to have an impact of fans by writing good shows, great episodes, interesting stories, instead of relying on cool guests and known faces.
Because really, this whole thing is getting quite boring now to hear all those names who will be on the second season on Heroes, and to make it worse there are strong rumors that many - if not (almost) all - of the characters from season one will be back. Yes, including those whom you thought had died.
Oh, NBC has confirmed that Janel Parrish has been brought on board as well.
Parrish will play the head cheerleader at Claire’s new school. Wow, sounds like another great thing, you know, very new and refreshing. And as you may have heard already, Claire will get a boyfriend this season. So what, Parrish’s ex? And Claire’s superpower will get involved in some stupid catfight only to bring the two cheer leaders together and be best friend in the end?
The little bits we hear about stories and characters development, sounds bad. Adding new cast members day after day to an already long list, same. And with that horrible finale, its retroactive meaning towards the whole season, and his lack of risks for the next one, I have nothing to even hope the show might not turn into crap next week.
I have lost faith and hope, and I’m not even excited about the show’s return. I’ll probably watch it anyways - of course I will - but the heart isn’t there anymore.
The second season of Heroes premieres on Monday, September 24 at 9pm on NBC.
