Winter Critics Poll 2007: Best & Worst

4. 30 Rock (NBC)
That’s right, if you listen to critics this is the new #1 comedy ! And you know what, it sure is! Of course I think How I Met Your Mother deserves to be somewhere on that list as well, much more than any Heroes, Ugly Betty, Californication or Weeds do, but still, there’s no question that Tina Fey’s comedy is a must-see TV, and this season has some of its best episodes ever. Greenzo, out!
3. Dexter (Showtime)
I still haven’t got any answer about this one : did the second season got that much better, or are critics all blind. Because the first season of this show really sucked, like so much it hurts watching. It really did, as I explained before that first season show have been voted Worst Series, so I’m not sure it deserves to be up there, quite frankly.
2. Mad Men (AMC)
I know it’s been really loved by critics, so it’s no surprise to see that one here. I’ve personally not enjoyed the show, and not watched it after the first few episodes, because I didn’t like it.
Obviously it couldn’t be there, since it premiered too late, but I’ll pretend still that this one is actually Breaking Bad, because that show is pretty awesome!
1. Pushing Daisies (ABC)
Of course, it hadn’t appeared on the list so far, and it could only mean one thing : it came first. This forensic fairy tale was without a doubt a very unusual and unexpected bubble of sweetness on TV, and it should be up there. Right after Life, but it is a great show, and I can’t wait to get my next piece of pie…
