Why God, Why? : Britney Is Coming Back…

Rumors were strong and it seemed unavoidable, and unfortunately it is now a reality : Britney Spears will be back into How I Met Your Mother. It’s now been confirmed, there’s no way it doesn’t happen, fuck!
I will be honest, I’m pretty pissed right now. I love the show, and I really think this way below it to resort to such crappy casting. Let’s be honest, Britney wasn’t any good, far from it. She’s terrible, she can’t act, but she didn’t had much to do and the rest of the episode was actually really funny, so of course it was acceptable. That, and the fact that we knew it might help the show get a renewal for a fourth season.
But that hasn’t happened, and now we’ll have to suffer through it another time, still without any guarantee that CBS will finally order another season of the show. And now, I really start to doubt my faith in the show’s creators.
When co-creator Craig Thomas says of the return of Britney Spears things like “We’re all so thrilled to have Britney joining us once again“, I know he can’t just go on and insult her, but after lots of bad guests, welcoming her back and pretending to be happy about it isn’t doing any good for the show.
Anyways, I already expressed how I felt about this whole thing, so I won’t repeat myself. But I’m really pissed, though I am happy to know Sarah Chalke will be back, and I just hope we won’t see much of Abby, even less than last time hopefully…
But she will be back, the news comes from E! Online and has been confirmed by Fox Studios (producing the show), Britney will reprise the role of Abby in the 19th (and penultimate) episode of the season, airing on May 12th. This better be the very last time we see or hear of her, and CBS better renew this show soon, cause I’m gonna get really mad otherwise!
