The Mentalist picked up for a full season

Took them long enough, as The Eye had only ordered more scripts of the new series starring Simon Baker so far.
But after another win, as last night’s episode won its slot beating Dancing With The Stars both in total viewers as well as on the demo, The Mentalist is averaging over 16 million viewers, and it’s clear it is a hit.
Logically, CBS announced a back-nine order for the show, bringing it to a full 22-episode season order. Other series to have been picked-up for a full season order so far include Chuck (NBC), 90210 (The CW), and Fringe (Fox).
