The Emmy - Highlights

The Emmy are now over, I already listed and commented about the winners, now let’s have a few comments about the ceremony itself. First off, I just want to say Seacrest turned out to be not as bad as expected I think. Good. Although that costume thing, just lame.
* What the hell was that round stage in the center of the theater !?? This is such a stupid “concept”. No wonder everyone kept commenting on it and feeling sorry about the other half of the audience; Those were the worst seats ever without a doubt. And it didn’t look good, or more intimate, either.
I guess someone at the Emmy saw the stage in the middle of the audience watching some crappy MTV awards show, and wanted to do the same, cause it’s so “young” and in touch with [loads of other BS here]
* The whole competition between Rainn Wilson, our very own Dwight, and Kanye West was just great. It was, it wasn’t too long, or boring, it really was funny, and boy is Rainn Wilson funny or what! I loved it.
* James… Spader. Really, people, you voted for him. God I can’t, still, words, sense, making… about this.
* So this is America. Watching TV, watching live television, in the USA, in 2007, looks like this. Because she was shocked to actually win, you could read on Katherine Heigl’s lips a little “Oh Shit!”. Of course the camera was on her, but there was no sound, and still it had to be censored !! What the fuck??
So what she said “shit”, big fucking deal? You can send kids to Mexico and have them work for hours, but they can’t read “shit” on someone’s lips when they win an Emmy !?? Jesus Christ, is this a free country?
Extremist muslim wants to ban some words or drawing to be said, written, drawn or painted, they don’t want people to be free, but they’re freaking extremists FFS! Anyone worried that USA are doing the same, using delays to cut the sound and showing us the audience and a huge black ball for seconds, and for what? In case a nipple shows, someone says “shit” or wants to say that those God damned wars should stop ?
Fucking retarded, this just pissed me off all night long!
* On a side note, Heigl’s speech was great, and pretty funny as well.
* Lewis Black. I always enjoys his act, and once again he was brilliant. And so true. I have to say I agree 110% with everything he said, I hate those annoying banner ads - that even FX or Showtime seem to fancy now. They’re annoying as hell, and useless. And same goes for the credits, can’t they have any respect for the people who are actually making the show.
Those people, and us viewers, and the ones making those morons rich. And yeah, what do they do besides making bad decisions?? I really hope some network exec heard that, and knew those weren’t jokes, but truths.
