StrikeTV coming soon, and other online series that are actually good

Now, going back to master Joss Whedon. If there’s one thing Dr Horrible did, it was to love Penny. And that’s also something this whole experience did, it brought more light on the adorable Felicia Day (Dr Horrible’s Penny), soon turned “Internet sensation”.

She was part of the Internet business before that, she’s the creator/writer/producer of her own Internet series, The Guild, in which she also stars (as well as taking care of all the DVDs packing… DVD available right now by the way, if you feel like keeping her busy). The show is pretty funny, and most certainly worth a look, whether you’re a gamer yourself or not :

And while waiting for season two, since we’re talking about Internet series I thought I might also mention The Legend Of Neil, created by Sandeep Parikh (Zaboo on The Guild), which is also pretty funny. We’re staying on the video game topic, it’s still about gamers, but in a quite different way. (And, again, video game knowledge not required, cause I really don’t have any so…)

And one more to go. This one is still on the topic of video games, but it has no link to Felicia Day (that I know of - except that it’s a Machinima.com series, and they hired her recently to write a new series…). It’s not very new, but I only discovered it a few days ago and I also love it. It’s called Red vs Blue, and it’s pretty damn hilarious as well. The series ended with episode 100, last one of the fifth and final season, released on June 28, 2007. I’m only around episode 50 right now, but I love it.
