Seinfeld back on NBC !

Remember back in the days, the good old days when NBC ruled over comedy, with a little of from their friend, Jerry Seinfeld. Those where the days of Must See TV, the days people over at NBC still dream of, and wish they could somehow get them back.
But they can’t. So they went on with the next best thing, and signed no other than Jerry Seinfeld himself, to guest-star on the 30 Rock season premiere, which will air on October, 4th.
Obviously everyone is more than excited by such news, starting with creator, executive producer, writer and, of course, star of the show, Tina Fey herself : “We’re very excited to have Jerry on 30 Rock. Finally, my parents have an excuse to watch the show!”
Co-chairman of NBC Ben Silverman is also excited, as seeing Seinfeld on NBC a Thursday night brings back good memories for the network : “Thursday night is a powerful comedy line up for NBC. To have Jerry join 30 Rock for its second season launch is impressive, to have him return even for one night in his old Thursday night turf — is just classic”
Of course there are many other people getting excited by the news, like me and probably you, but also Jerry himself : “I was thrilled to be asked to guest star on NBC’s hit comedy 30 Rock. I think it’s going to be so refreshing for me to be playing myself in a show that has nothing to do with neurotic, dysfunctional New York characters.
hmm.. I wonder if he watched the show?
Either way, we’re all excited to see Seinfeld back on TV, it’s always a great thing. And obviously Seinfeld likes it as well, so much that he will not just leave NBC after his trip on 30 Rock but stay around for more promotion of his Bee Movie, in the form of “minisodes”, created and starring Jerry himself, inspired by his experiences creating the upcoming and previously named animated (Bee) movie, in theaters November 2.
Produced by Seinfeld and DreamWorks, the 20 comedy shorts will give viewers a glimpse at Seinfeld’s behind-the-scenes antics during production of the movie. The minisodes will run on NBC’s primetime schedule this fall, as well as on NBC.com, on designated days before and after the release of the film.
