Preview: Nathan Fillion in Castle

How about a new cop show ? But you know, with a twist, of course. So there would be this female NYPD detective, Beckett, with a conservative approach to the job, and then Nick, novelist with rock star tendencies who writes about murders but has gotten tired of all the boring fame and success, who would join her on the job. A sparkling duo that would investigate crime in a relative unusual way, or something.
Sure, the “comedic crime procedural” genre isn’t new, and we all love Bones, but there’s a reason you want to watch this latest ABC series, and his name is Captain Hammer Malcolm Reynolds Nathan Fillion. Just because of him I would have had to watch the show, but the show actually comes from producer Armyan Bernstein (Children Of Men, Spy Game), the pilot episode is written by Andrew Marlowe (Air Force One), and looking at this preview it looks like an awful lot of fun !

See, this new season might be bringing exciting new series after all, we just have to wait longer for them, that’s all. Now the question is : which new series are you more excited about at this point, Castle, or Dollhouse ?

Hell yeah looks awesome. But why did they show the entire first episode in under 3 minutes? I hope they didn’t show the good parts… As for your question Castle for me.
Yeah I know, I sure hope there’s still lots of great “new” stuff in the episode, and not just boring moments between the good stuff we saw there. But I have faith this should be good; At least it looks like a lot of fun, and with Fillion in the lead it can’t fail… right?
PS: My vote would probably go for Castle as well right now, but that might be because it’s fresher…
