NBC Silverman thinks he’s cool, and wants his prom
By fred | January 9, 2008
There’s this old saying that Hollywood is pretty much mike high-school, and NBC co-chairman Ben Silverman is taking it quite literally. So, thinking he’s one of the coolest guy ever, he tried to insult the writers by commenting the cancellation of the Golden Globes like so : “Sadly, it feels like the nerdiest, ugliest, meanest kids in the high school are trying to cancel the prom. But NBC wants to try to keep that prom alive.”
Which is quite funny coming from him, the guy was thrilled of hiring gay-hater Washington just because of his… “words”.
In response, writers are throwing a prom in Silverman’s honor !
“You may have slammed our head into a locker, taken our milk money and gotten to third base with our girlfriend while we were in band practice… but we don’t hold a grudge and we certainly didn’t try to cancel prom.”
Awesome. I do wonder, though, when it is we’re gonna talk back about getting residuals for diffusion over the new medias and shit like that, you know, so we can put this God Damn strike behind us once and far all.
PS: And really, look at that moron, am I the only one who wants to punch him in the face ?
