NBC said Golden Globes will air

There were doubts and rumors as to whether or not the show would be telecast by NBC, or if the ceremony would even take place at all, because of the strike and the WGA’s logical refusal to grant the Hollywood Foreign Press Association a waiver. But NBC said Sunday that it would air the Golden Globes Awards as scheduled, regardless.
So the Golden Globes will take place January 13, despite the fact that writers will be picketing outside and, as a result, many celebrities are expected not to show up as they support writers and refuse to cross any picket lines. And there’s no question there will be picket lines, because WGA have already said the only reason they might not picket was if it was going to be a private event, without cameras.
Now I’m sure it will suck, but I’m also sure many people will tune in just to see who actually are the “traitors” crossing picket lines… Not to mention, what will Jon Stewart - the show’s host - do ? While the Globes aren’t like his show, where his staff could loose their jobs if he didn’t, he could very well do the same and show up after crossing picket lines anyways… I hope he won’t.
