NBC Reveals Fall Series Premiere Dates (And Schedule Tweaks)

We had the schedule already, but not the dates. Now we do, as NBC revealed the premiere dates for its fall schedule (plus some tweaks in said schedule). Eager to know when your favorite (NBC) show will be back, it’s all here !

* Heroes will be back in a three-hour block, no less! Monday, September 22nd the Heroes night will start with an hour-long compilation show, so uninteresting boring crap, and then the two-hour season premiere. I’m not sure it’ll be any better, but at least it’ll be new, right?

* The new season of Chuck will premiere on Monday, September 29th, and the same night will also see the series premiere of My Own Worst Enemy

* Law & Order: SVU will start its new season Tuesday, September 23rd

* On Wednesday, September 24th you’ll have the series premiere of Knight Rider, as well as the season premiere of Lipstick Jungle

* My Name Is Earl will open its new season with an hour-long episode on Thursday, September 25th. Same deal for The Office an hour later, and to make it right E.R. will start its final season on that same day as well.

* New sitcom Kath & Kim, originally planned for Tuesdays at 9.30 after The Biggest Loser, now joins the Thursday comedy night. It will have its series premiere on Thursday, October 9th at 9.30 after The Office. On Tuesdays, The Biggest Loser will be half an hour longer.

* 30 Rock’s third season will not come back until Thursday, October 30th !! That’s right, that late. Before that and for three weeks it will NBC’s “brilliant” idea of the Saturday Night Live On Thursday…

* Crusoe will have a big two-hour series premiere on Friday, October 17th

* And before that the greatest series ever, or pretty darn close, Life, will be back for a second season, starting Friday, October 3rd.
