NBC Comedy Night Is Back: My Name Is Earl, 30 Rock, The Office, Scrubs, they’re all here!

With a writers’ strike in the middle of it, this season has been like no other, there’s no doubt about that. And even though it’s been over for weeks now, doesn’t mean things are back to normal. Just like nothing changed right when the writers and everyone else stopped working, things won’t restart as soon as they head back.
A few shows will not return for the season, others went back to production. Some are already back on the air, others are expected to return soon, and among them are the hilarious NBC comedies. My Name Is Earl already did its return last week, but tonight is the real deal, they’re all back, and I couldn’t be more excited about it.
Be sure to tune in on NBC tonight, with a new My Name Is Earl at 8.00, and this time Earl might actually be around and, you know, awake, followed by a new episode of 30 Rock where I hear Jack gets excited about a new “concept” he thought of earlier on the show, then at 9.00 it’s time for The Office and that special Dinner episode we’ve heard so much about, as it was written before the strike, but didn’t get to be shot.
Also, everyone from the show kept repeating how it was the funniest episode they ever read, so we’ve all been drooling over that for a few weeks now, needless to say expectations are high, real high, but then again I have all the confidence in the world, this is The Office we’re talking about !
And of course a brand new episode of Scrubs comes next. We won’t get to see JD becoming a real father anytime soon, since the show isn’t actually over yet, but that doesn’t mean we’re not going to have fun meanwhile.
There still hasn’t been any official statement about the future of the show, but we know it’s not part of NBC schedule for next season, they won’t renewed it, yet everyone is back at work. It’s not official, but while tonight NBC airs the first of the six remaining episodes they have, no less than 16 more of them will come back next season, on ABC.
So again, tonight at 8.00 all eyes on NBC, for two solid hours of comedy done right! I can’t wait. What about you, are you as excited as I am ?
