More Scripts for Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles and Knight Rider
By fred | October 11, 2008
Only three freshman series have received full-season pick-ups so far : Chuck, which NBC picked up before the season premiere even aired, The CW’s 90210, and Fox’s Fringe. Recently CBS also ordered six more scripts for its latest hit, The Mentalist, and a back-nine order is expected to follow soon.
* Hope is dead? While I am convinced that about 99% of the people still watching the new Knight Rider on NBC are doing so because the show is so bad it becomes funny, and they’re curious to see how low NBC can sink, well here’s more good laughs for them : due to “good” ratings (Knight Rider still performs better than Pushing Daisies) NBC now thinks the show is actually good, and ordered 4 additional scripts.
Don’t panic, we’re not talking episodes here, much less full season pick-up, but still.
* There might be hope after all. While rumors were out that Fox could drop Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles after the 13 episodes already ordered, here’s a sign of hope for the human race. The network announced an additional order for 2 more scripts. It’s not much, and - once again - it’s new episodes, just scripts, but it’s still a good sign. As I’ve said before, the show is struggling on Monday nights and I think Fox should move it.
On Wednesdays Bones has been doing pretty good, last episode averaging over 10 million viewers and a 3.3 on the demo, so instead of wasting for on Til Death which can’t keep 50% of the viewers around, why not try and move Terminator right there, Wednesdays at 9.00 ? What do you think, good idea ?

Shows: Knight Rider, The Sarah Connor Chronicles

I think that in order for them to do that here what they should do (all times eastern):
1. Move Sarah to Wed. at 9.
2. Move Til Death to Fri. at 9.
3. Decide which game show they would rather save (5th Grader is more logical due to merchandising) and move it back to Thurs.
4. Move Hole in Sarah’s spot until they decide if they want something else in that spot (If I remember correctly, Hole did decent numbers when shown on Monday).
Just my opinion.
