Journeyman out, Bionic Woman in !!?

Seriously, NBC, what the fuck ? Who are the brain-dead morons running this company, because sometimes I feel the need to kick them as hard as one can be kicked. There aren’t any new official reports or announcement, but the more you look at things the more it looks like NBC is not going to pick up Journeyman for a full season order (last ordered episode, episode 13, will are this Wednesday at 10.00) but is more likely to cancel it.
Meanwhile, I had already heard that some people were planning and writing a season finale, or maybe series finale, for Bionic Woman. No, that wouldn’t necessary mean a full season order is planned either, but it would mean more episodes to come. Because unlike Journeyman, the crappy NBC retake on Bionic Woman only had eight episodes completed before the strike.
And now this : a spokesperson for NBC Universal Media Studios told TVGuide that “Bionic Woman has not been canceled. Production was shut down due to the WGA strike. In addition, we have not completed the initial 13-episode order, which will be the first order of business when the strike ends“. Really !!? Cause the strike was the perfect excuse - should you need one, other than “it’s he worst piece of crap ever made” - to use in order to get ride of that show and pretend it never existed.
While I may not be a fan myself, Journeyman has lots of fans and I will admit that the show has a level of quality that’s not found everywhere on TV, and I am willing to bet that people would be way more willing to see more episodes of Journeyman than they would of Bionic Woman, even if the later had more episodes to offer.
Hell, I’ll chose one episode of Journeyman other two seasons of Bionic Woman any day, because it actually is good, while Bionic Woman is not, nor is there any hope thay it could ever improve. And looking at the numbers, looks like I’m not the only one…
