Journeyman is over, for good

Journeyman

Okay so there’s some reports right now that Journeyman has been canceled. Which is like, “wow, shocking!“, given how it’s been pretty known already for weeks, I mean last month creator Kevin Falls pretty much announced it himself.

The funny thing is that some reports also wonder whether or not the series finale will actually made it to the air, which again I find pretty odd - or quite outdated - since Falls’ interview raised those concerns as well, which have since been resolved as NBC confirmed the last two episodes would indeed air next week (Episode 12 on the show’s usual timeslot, Monday, December 17 at 10.00, and the very last episode (13) two days later, Wednesday, December 19 at 10.00).

But what’s most funny, or depressing depending on how you look at it, about this whole thing is this : the worst of all the new series NBC had this season, the one everybody agrees that it was more than “just” a huge disappointment but an absolute piece of crap, still is on the bubble. That’s right, still no official announcement or even reports/rumors that Bionic Woman is/will be canceled by NBC. So who knows !? *crosses fingers*

No really… Sure, they invested millions on that show - and by that I mean they invested billions of dollars on promoting the show - but still, it almost feels like an insult. I mean they don’t actually really consider picking it up for a full season order, so why the wait ? Is it in case suddenly the whole world would change their minds waking up going “hey wait a second there! That new Bionic Woman wasn’t so bad after all ! I mean really, she totally is a bad-ass, and guess what ? That Michelle Ryan can act !”

Or maybe they hope that after months of reality crap people will beg for even as poorly written and acted shit as this show was…

Oh yeah, Happy Holidays!
