Joss Whedon’s Dr. Horrible’s Sing-Along Blog Teaser

For those of you unaware of what’s coming soon to a computer near you, here’s a recap : Remember that horrible WGA strike ? Yep, well while writers were on strike the brains of Joss Whedon couldn’t completely shut down, and the guy started writing a three part musical series for the internet. Each of the three episodes will be approximately ten minutes each, and though it’ll start on the Internet be warned, Whedon already stated that there’ll be “amazing DVD extras” !
Anyways, along with his brothers Zack and Jed, as well as Jed’s Fiancé Maurissa Tancharoen, Whedon did the writing, the shooting have then also been completed and the series is now in post-production.
What is it about ? According to Whedon himself, “it’s the story of a low-rent super-villain, the hero who keeps beating him up, and the cute girl from the laundromat he’s too shy to talk to.” And if you want more, here’s a teaser of Doctor Horrible’s Sing-Along Blog, which will star Barney Stinson Neil Patrick Harris as Dr. Horrible, Nathan Fillion as Captain Hammer, and Felicia Day as Penny, among others.
