Jericho : season two preview

By fred | December 27, 2007

JerichoThis is no mystery that with the strike going on, not much will be on the air next year. And just as clear for everyone is that if there’s an event next year, it will come from ABC, not CBS. No offense to Jericho, a show I watched and liked during its first season, and I’m happy and will be back for the new one, but the show is no where near Lost.

Still, CBS hopes to create a real big thing with their show, and are trying to grow the buzz of course. And it’s fair to say that the strike might actually help, in that with a depressing lack of good thing on the air, more viewers might get attracted to Jericho than they would have been otherwise. And let’s be honest, CBS’ drama might have one episode less than ABC’s hit show, but theirs is in a much better place.

Because like it or not, but sadly what ABC is bringing us is not season four of Lost, not the full season, not the one writers dreamed of and envisioned. It’s only half of it, and it was never meant to be shown that way.

So there might be one more episode but Jericho’s second season was meant to have only seven episodes. So creatively, the show might be in a much better place, and for fans to have a chance to get more episodes ordered, the situation couldn’t be any better one would think. Hence after destroying the first season, CBS is now already promoting the second one.

First, we had a nice video with an annoying talking nut. And now, a sneak peak at the next season, narrated by a quite pretentious voice-over, but it was inevitable I guess.

Be aware though, that this is a season preview, and as such it comes with spoilers. I did watch this one, and I may have my own definition of things, but in my book you’ll learn quite a lot of things. So if you’d rather come into the new season not knowing anything but what’s left from the first season, walk away now.

For those of you who don’t mind getting spoiled, there you go :
