Is Journeyman running out of time ?

Now that we’ve established that episode 12 will most likely be the series finale, then comes the second big question for you : will you get to see it ??

Some time ago rumors started to pop out that Journeyman would be canceled, probably after episode 8, or maybe 9. Those rumors were not true - given how episode 10 will indeed air tonight. Falls addressed those rumors recently and explained why, he thinks, they were formulated to begin with.

The thing is that those episodes were to air during the sweeps, and as such would generate lots of interest from the morons. “That, coupled with the fact that, on December 3rd, Life gets our slot… [for a special double-episode, both parts/episodes airing on Monday and Wednesday] And I think that made it seem like we were gonna get yanked after that, but that’s not true. We will air episodes 10 and 11; 10 is our Christmas episode, and 11 is the first part of a two-parter that leads into our… season finale.”

But the story doesn’t ends there. The facts are these, according to NBC morons, there’s apparently simply no room for that episode 12 ! Because as mentioned earlier, they seem to be willing to tie up all their loose ends so that they could “start up fresh” in January, if the strike was still on. Remember how I mentioned how retarded and disrespectful that idea was ? Don’t you hate NBC too ?

Because in the end, they might even decide not to air that very last episode. Especially if ratings aren’t so good. And by the way, according to an inside source, “the network is only interested in the live Nielsens, not DVR viewers or downloads” ! Why ? Because they’re morons. I thought I made that point clear already.

Why would they decide not to care about DVR and downloads ? We all know those are actual viewers, fans of the shows sometimes even, we all know they make money out of this too, and should I remind them also that Journeyman comes in at 10.00 and not everyone can stay up as late as they want. That’s why God invented DVRs in the first place!

And to understand why NBC doesn’t seem to even try to support Journeyman as much as they do, say, that piece of crap that Bionic Woman is, well it seems you’ll need to add a little bit of politics into the whole thing. According to Falls, “We’re a Fox show, okay? Chuck is Warner Brothers. The rest of them – Life, Heroes, Bionic Woman – are NBC-Universal, so they’re motivated to have those shows succeed. So they’re putting their money behind those shows,” even though everyone will admit that is a stupid selection.

Because while for some of them it’s understandable, I do believe that Life is the best new series this season and Falls “heard nothing but good things [about it]“, but come one, Bionic Woman ? Really, that’s just non-sense to me. As Falls said, “I think most people would agree that, creatively, we’re in a, uh, much better place than Bionic Woman.” That goes without saying, for sure.

So in the end not only is the show doomed to extinction very soon, but the worst part of it all is that it could not even be given the time to end that early on. Let’s all hope we will at the very least get to see all episodes of the show, but to expect more than 12 episodes seems to be more than just wishful thinking at this point…

I could end this here, but I feel like adding one more little thing, just because I hate NBC. “You know, originally, NBC wanted this show to be a romance. And we still have that, and we love it and want to embrace it. But they really wanted it. They wanted that Desperate Housewives audience and that Grey’s Anatomy audience.”

Okay, that’s it. I think it speaks for itself, and I hate NBC. I do, despite having some great series they keep acting like they really hate us all, viewers, forgetting that we’re the ones bringing money in their pockets in the first place. I wish them all the worst.
