House Superbowl episode bummer !

Another consequences of the ongoing writers’ strike, this time affecting the great series House and its special episode to air right after the Superbowl. (An honor which might have profited even more had it been given to lead-in Bones, but that’s not the topic here.)
Michael Ausiello reports that the original plan was to have a two-parter episode, the first part airing right after the game while the second part would be on the week after, in House’s usual slot. Pretty much the same thing that Criminal Minds did last year, given how it’s a great way to have new viewers to follow up.
But sadly because of the strike, and most likely the fact that the episodes have not been written, such thing won’t happen. Instead, it’s a regular episode - that was supposed to air in January - that will air after the Superbowl…
