Heroes’ team learned their lessons… NOT!
By fred | February 7, 2008
Remember when I said that Heroes was doomed, because its creative team had no clue what to do with the show ? Turns out it might be even worst than I thought.
So after “apologizing”, or begging people to still tune in because they love money, creator Tim Kring wanted everyone to think that he and other writers on the show had realized their mistakes, and were going to change things and get the show better. But let’s be honest here, if you didn’t know no one cared about some stupid annoying twins were ludicrous “abilities”, if you couldn’t see people would not be interested in the same stories as in the first season, if you thought it got any better by the end of last season, despite all characters being complete morons 24/7 and the whole thing being a huge piece of crap, you obviously didn’t realize anything, you were just begging to go in another World tour…
Now have the people of Heroes actually learned from their mistake last season ? Don’t be so sure. First, people who you think probably died last season might still come back after all. Because on Heroes, they’re scared to kill people off. Even if they don’t know what to do with them, and keep bringing in new characters (with whom they don’t know what to do either…). And since they got those characters who cannot die, and whose blood can bring back to life about anyone, why kill anyone really ?
But I hear you, what about the twin brother, isn’t he dead ? Couldn’t we have some more new characters on the show ? Because that’s totally what was the best thing about last season, the proliferation of new characters and pointless boring stories !
Do not worry my friend, actor Jamie Fector has been added to the cast of next season of NBC once-a-hit-show Heroes. That’s right, they’re doing it again, adding new characters. Because it was part of their initial plan, with the whole Origins crappy idea as well and all, and since obviously their originals ideas were awesome, see season two if you don’t remember how awesome they were, and since they made no mistakes that needed to be learned from and no adjustments were necessary, here we go again.
So welcome Jamie Hector, best known for his role on the critically acclaimed HBO series The Wire, who will be joining in on what I hope will be the last season of a crappy show. “My character’s name on Heroes is Benjamin Knox Washington. I can’t really disclose much about him, but I can tell you it’s a lot of fun.” Yeah, I bet it is.
Like when when finally got to see what had happened “four months ago”, since we somehow skipped those four months at first, only to see some bogus filler about some twins no one cared about and other crap like that, how fun was that ? And you remember when we found out how Sylar made it, how he “lost” his powers and that whole story ?
Oh no, wait, we didn’t get that. Instead we had Hiro stuck in the past or months and months doing the most stupidest things ever and soon becoming one of the useless and hated character on the show ? Oh yeah, good times, lots of fun! Really, I can’t wait, when is the show back ? Too bad, I got a thing that day…

hahahahaha you are funny, you can call me naive or stupid or BOTH, but I still have faith in this show I’m just hoping I won’t get too disapointed!
well, I hope for you too that you won’t get disappointed, but I wouldn’t get my hopes too high if I were you…
Plus, low expectations is a way not to be disappointed, too ;)
