Heroes second season to be boring, Hiro says
By fred | July 18, 2007
Even though I liked the show when it started and, despite not being the greatest show, still liked it a lot pretty much all season long, their absolute piece of crap of a finale was so bad it not only made me really hate the episode, but the whole season & show even !
Trying to close the story and having all characters at the same place for no reasons, and doing nothing… oh God what a nightmare that was. Were they told they’d been canceled just before writing this crap or what??
Anyways, remember that “cliffhanger” as very last shot on the finale? Not much of a cliffhanger, not really bringing any excitement or questions or nothing for things to come, but either way : it wasn’t just a quick trip.
Masi Oka (Hiro) told TV Guide that he “just shot [his] third episode [on Monday] and [is] in feudal Japan.”
Oh God, three episode and they still haven’t moved on from this, that just doesn’t sound good to me.
“I’m going to be there for a while.” Please stop, say no more I don’t want to hate the show more than I currently do already.
Apparently, Hiro will stay back there, as in 400 years back there, for quite some time. As Oka explained, “The whole idea with Season 2 is that we start off with two separate time lines — one starts four months after the [season finale] happened, and the other starts with Hiro 400 years in the past.”
Really? So now we’re gonna have what is, really, the most beloved character of the show stuck, alone (not even with his buddy Ando) for a very LONG time! That just sounds like pretty awful idea to me.
Sure, Ando was missing in the future too. But the future had a very more interesting feel to it : it told a LOT about what was going, or supposed, to happen on the present, the usual timeline of the show.
Plus, Ando might have been MIA, but he was there, still. Not future Ando, no, but the “original”, present Ando was.
And so were a bunch of other future Heroes. I can’t see how they could have anyone else having superpowers 400 years ago. I mean, we’ve only seen a few people getting their powers and they have not been unnoticed, far from it. (Even if they didn’t blow up New-York. Yet.)
So don’t even pretend that they were already a bunch of them 400 years ago, but kept it quiet.
I hate the show because its first season finale, and somehow I have a bad feeling that its second season (premiere) will not help me get ride of that…

I agree and frankly season 3 is pretty boring too. How they could take such a good show and make it this boring…it’s almost like they’re making a real effort to make it boring.
