Fox Summer Schedule : Reruns or nothing!
By fred | April 8, 2008
It’s no mystery that in those post-WGA strike days, Fox has no trouble winning night after night, all they need is a new installment of American Idol and that’s about it. Either that, or that new stupid game called Moment Of Truth. So that’s what you’ll get this summer on Fox, in fact, that’s all you’ll get!
As explained by Preston Beckman, vp scheduling at Fox : “We’re not doing new shows because we don’t have to. We’re in a place where we don’t need to blow up the schedule with a bunch of new shows, throwing stuff against the wall.”
Yeah, well, I’ll agree on one thing : I better not watch Fox at all during the entire summer, that start watching (and liking) a new series that looks promising, only to see it being canceled after a couple of episodes !
And as much I as like both Bones and House, I’ve seen them already, so this summer I think I’ll just be Fox-free !
