Fox shaking his upcoming schedule up
By fred | August 3, 2007
As usual with networks the schedule are being done, redone and re-redone over and over, as they’re trying to find out what’s the best that will make them richer. And Fox is already shaking things up in its schedule, taking their new drama New Amsterdam off the air before it ever made its way on.
It’s not permanent, though, they say. They’re just adjusting things and reworking it, the series is still in production and it should be back and find its way on the air during midseason, possibly Fridays at 9pm.
Among other changes, the season premiere and airtime of Bones has been changed, the show starring Emily Deschanel and David Boreanaz will now take New Amsterdam’s time slot and come back on Tuesday, September 25 at 8pm, right before the excellent drama House, which has its season premiere right after at 9pm.
Regarding Bones, the move might actually be a good one, as it was previously going to launch this year in a quite tough timeslot, Wednesdays at 9pm, where it would have gone up against four other (expected to be) big dramas : Private Practice on ABC, Criminal Minds on CBS, Gossip Girl on The CW and Bionic Woman on NBC.
You can find here the updated Fox Fall Schedule, and - updated as well obviously - the list of all shows premiere dates for all the main networks.
